Network Traffic Analysis
Solution Overview
Watch4Net APG integrates various technologies, such as Cisco Netflow, IP-SLA, Class-Of-Service polling, WAN device and Load Balancers analysis, giving you a comprehensive view of your application traffic on and detect if the network is impacting the applications and services.
Key Features
Traffic Flows Analysis (Cisco Netflow, IPFIX, jFlow, ...)
Cisco IOS NetFlow technology gives organizations a comprehensive view of application traffic on a network, by capturing network traffic statistics traversing routers and switches. This data provides details about applications running on the network, users exchanging data, down to the end-to-end conversations, enabling network managers to determine who is using the bandwidth and for what for. The Watch4Net APG Software consolidates this information and presents it in a meaningful way and easy-to-understand preconfigured reports.
Network delay and jitter Monitoring with Cisco IP-SLA
The Cisco IP-SLA is a Cisco IOS feature that monitors network performance by measuring response time, network resource availability, application performance, jitter (interpacket delay variance), connect time, throughput, and packet loss. In particular, IP-SLA is a reliable mechanism for accurately monitoring the metrics in service level agreements (SLAs). Watch4Net APG can configure, collect, and report IP SLA probes providing organizations a set of services such as path response time, path availability, path jitter measurements, application response time, baseline trends, scorecards, SLA reporting and alerts.

Congestion Monitoring on Class of Services
In MPLS network or LAN/WAN networks, Cisco class-of services help managing the traffic congestion so that the performance of critical network applications is protected and not adversely impacted by other, less critical, network traffic. The Watch4Net APG Software monitors the traffic for each configured class-of-services, and provides immediate value by monitoring how the QoS configuration affects the pattern of network traffic through the router.
WAN Accelerator and Load-Balancer equipments Monitoring
Traffic control equipments such WAN accelerators (Packeteer Packetshapper, Bluecoat SG, Juniper WX, ...) and Load-Balancers (Radware, F5 BIP IP, ...) gives statistics on the traffic received and forwarded. APG supports leading vendors' solutions through preconfigured reports and built-in analytics for both the device health and the traffic flows and repartition.
