Improve overall availability of distributed applications.

The ReportPack for Applications monitors hundreds of TCP-based applications. It periodically verifies the application transaction availability and response-time, helping operational staff immediately determine how network outages impact applications.

Pre-defined reports show the application performance in real-time, and over a period of time. Applications may be grouped by business units or any other customizable criteria. Service level objectives can be assigned to those groups to enable alerting.

When used in conjunction with EMC|SMARTS Application Connectivity Monitor (ACM), the ReportPack mines the information – topology and indicators - directly from it, instead of polling the infrastructure. This allows automatic synchronization of discovered applications while eliminating network load and maintenance efforts.
