Overview
The collector for SQL databases can be used to execute arbitrary SQL statements to fetch statistical information and direct to APG Software Suite. The collector for SQL databases is a generic module for APG and can be customized to connect to any SQL database to execute queries.

The SQL collector can be configured to adapt to any valid XML file or CSV file containing statistical data. The collector is a lightweight process that can be distributed across the environment, for maximum scalability, flexibility, and for security ends. The collector parses the data locally or remotely (FTP, SOAP, HTTP, etc.) and sends it to the backend/database.
