Highlights of the demonstrations to be presented at TMForum Management World booth # 27
- Visibility on Virtualized Environments
- Multi-Technology Coverage; from Network, to Applications, to Storage
- End User Experience Monitoring
- Understand Application Behavior
Virtualization projects are the first step to transition the data center to private clouds. APG provides real-time, historical, and projected view of your virtualized infrastructure. From a summary group, users can drill-down to individual hosts servers, then to virtual machines. At each layer, users can see the health, the activity such as the VMotion moves, and identify clearly the root-cause of performance degradations. Built-in analytics deliver automatic alerts on current and potential future problems.
The APG Software Suite provides a single pane of visibility across critical applications, databases, web servers, and network and security devices. Information is analyzed in real-time and presented to Operations, Engineers, Managers and Customers. The APG Software Suite is an integrated and modular system providing detailed insight on the network, load-balancers, application tiers, physical and virtual server tiers, storage infrastructure and service levels experienced by end-users.
With APG, organizations can set up scheduled synthetic transactions to regularly check the availability and response-time for a given IT service. A complete set of monitors are available to measure and analyze web servers URLs, DNS/DHCP services, and all TCP-based user transactions. APG can also listen for transactions in realtime and track and report on actual end user experience and applications response times. Using this feature, users can monitor response times and take proactive steps in case of abnormal behavior, as well as plan for growth based on actual usage.
APG integrates various technologies - such as Cisco Netflow, IP-SLA, QoS, WAN optimizers statistics, Load Balancers statistics - to detect traffic spikes and understand traffic patterns at certain times of the day, and use this information to help you scale your deployment. This data provides details about applications running on the network and users exchanging data, down to the end-to-end conversations. The information enables network managers to analyze problems, understand resource usage, and plan new applications' deployments.
