APG comes with prepackaged modules that automatically retrieve and analyze the data available in the EMS/NMS/OMCs (performance measurements, events, topology, business service definitions) in order to present global reporting and cross-domain analysis in APG.
This whole approach ensures that the performance reporting processes are streamlined with fault management and element management systems. Each module comes with a collector part and a reportpack (instrumentation) that contains hundreds of out-of-the-box, preconfigured reports, KPIs and thresholds providing quick implementation (reports on day-one) and strong ROI.
Depending on the EMS/NMS, the integration can also be at the console layer (bidirectional integration) and at the alerting layer (alert notification to fault consoles).
