Position Overview

This role is focused on growing Watch4Net’s revenue in NORTH AMERICAN territory via direct and indirect sales and representing all product offerings from Watch4Net. Accounts are very diverse and include TELCO, Industrials, High-Tech, gaming, consumer products, financials, defense, government, utilities and healthcare sectors.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be able to understand, demonstrate and present solutions to meet the business requirements of clients and to develop sales opportunities within the assigned region in NORTH AMERICA. She/he will drive the sales process from prospecting to closing deals directly or via partners. Specifically:

  • Achieve first class Watch4Net APG product knowledge;
  • Achieve an excellent understanding of the Performance Management market across all IT silos;
  • Analyze relevant customer problems, needs and requirements;
  • Manage customer reviews and planning sessions;
  • Create complex quotations covering licensing, training, implementation and consulting services;
  • Provide product presentations and proposals
  • Ensure that customers' issues are dealt with efficiently
  • Identify and qualify potential resellers in the relevant territory

As a seasoned sales professional, the successful candidate must operate and work independently and be self motivated. She/he must have a proven track record of starting up business in a NORTH AMERICA territory from scratch and must be capable to act as project/team manager on complex solution sales initiatives.

Experience/Skills

  • Must be a self-starter and strong closer with multi-tasking abilities resulting in a history of consistent quota achievement selling System Management solutions within the high-technology arena
  • Manage a mix of new and existing accounts and have a history of generating significant revenues
  • Strong selling experience into IT Infrastructure, NOC and OSS environments required
  • Excellent pipelining / forecasting / resource management / account management skills
  • Proven ability to rapidly learn new concepts and technologies
  • Enterprise software sales experience welcome
